It seems like it’s the month of the zombies, with Walking Dead’s premiere pretty much taking over the news sites, and with the announcement of the Zombieland TV adaptation and of course, there’s the fact that it’s Halloween so all the real life zombies are coming out to play. But the world of sports is currently zombie-free, a predicament that Bas Rutten aims to fix with a 5 minute cage fight.
With a 22 fight unbeaten streak (21 wins, 1 draw), and a colorful career that includes a UFC Heavyweight Championship reign, and 3 Pancrase world championships, Bas Rutten is not the kind of person who will shy away from a cage fight, even in his retirement. But can the 46 year old who popularized the liver shot defeat a fearsome opponent that no longer uses its liver? Watch the video below to find out if something that is already dead to begin with, can still be made to tap out:
Bas Rutten is currently retired as a Mixed Martial Artist, but still maintains a presence in the sport by co-hosting Inside MMA on HDNet. The video’s creators, Chaos Creatures, is the puppet workshop and video production arm of Chaos Pictures. Other works from Chaos Creatures can be viewed on their youtube page (including a puppet rendition of Lady Gaga’s Poker Face from Kitty Gaga and a puppet version of Christian Bale’s Terminator Rant.)
