Texas Chainsaw 3D has just released its first promotional pic online, featuring our old psychopath pal Leatherface and his trusty little friend. Or at least, their backs. We didn’t exactly get full frontal.
The poster image shows the cannibal nutcase walking down some railway lines towards what seems to be an old warehouse. Interestingly enough, the word “meats” is displayed on the side. Anyone familiar with the story or at least anyone who paid attention to the sixth word in this paragraph will now the significance of the word.
Texas Chainsaw 3D is a continuation of Tobe Hooper’s original film, with Marilyn Burns’ character having escaped and alerted the authorities. However, before the authorities made their move, an angry mob gathers and burns down the Sawyer household. The film then fast forwards to a few years later when a young woman inherits the Sawyer estate, only to be surprised at the things buried out of sight. What’s worse, not all the Sawyers were killed in the fire.
Texas Chainsaw 3D opens in the UK on 4 January 2013
