Stephen King’s The Stand Close to Getting a New Director 0


The big screen adaptation for Stephen King’s The Stand has been fraught with various hurdles, but it seems to be getting closer to becoming a reality, as Josh Boone is said to be close to signing on as writer and director, according to The Wrap. Boone will be replacing the recently departed Scott Cooper, who left the project due to creative differences with the studio.

Stephen King’s The Stand focuses on a post-apocalyptic world in which a crippling plague wiped out majority of American civilization, with a small group of survivors finding that they need to band together in order to face the evil Randall Flagg.
