Preacher TV Adaptation to be Penned by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Sam Caitlin 0

Plans for a Preacher adaptation has been making the rounds for years now, but news died down after the project hit a few snags, including a rejection from HBO way back in 2006, as the material has been deemed too controversial.

Fortunately for fans of Garth Ennis’ iconic yarn about the rogue preacher with the voice of god, AMC has picked up the project, and has tapped new writers – Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Sam Caitlin. Seth Rogen is probably already well known as an actor, and Evan Goldberg for the number of projects he’s had with Rogen and other comedians. Caitlin himself will be familiar to many viewers due to his work on Breaking Bad.
