Now that the Avengers has come and gone in most countries, Marvel would like to remind us that they have another superhero movie coming up, and they did so by releasing two new posters for Marc Webb’s reboot of the webcrawling franchise, The Amazing Spider-Man.
The first new poster shows Spider-Man striking a pose in front of what looks like Manhattan from a bird’s eye view. There are a number of lesions in his costume, particularly ones that ruin the spider logo. This is in line with most of the promotional materials released so far, which feature Spidey in a disheveled state.
The second poster has Spidey looking more presentable, and now in his trademark swinging-while-poised-to-shoot-some-webbing post. The backdrop, while still featuring the same birds eye view of a city, now look a little bit noire-ish.
The Amazing Spider-Man is scheduled to open in the UK on July 1, 2012.
