Taken 2 has recently started stepping up its marketing campaign, with the release of a new moody poster for the movie, which helps increase the momentum that was already gained by last week’s unveiling of the movie’s first official trailer. The new poster shows Liam Neeson in a very dark, shadowy setting clutching a revolver, with the number “2” set as a backdrop.
The sequel follows Neeson’s character Bryan Mills as he goes on a family holiday to Istanbul with his wife (Famke Janssen) and daughter (Maggie Grace), not realizing that he’s being followed by a few men working for the father (Rade Serbedzija) of one of the kidnappers Mills killed in the previous film.
Of course, we all know where this is going – a family member has been snatched again, only this time it’s Mrs. Mills. One of the key differences this time around is that former CIA man Mills is no longer shy about breaking a few bones just to ensure that he gets his loved ones back in one piece.
