In a recent interview with SFX magazine, comic book scribe and current 20th Century Fox consultant Mark Millar talked about his feelings over the possibility of a cross-over between the two Marvel licenses owned by Fox, X-Men and Fantastic Four:
“Without question I think you have to see some of these guys showing up in each other’s movies.
“I think the most exciting thing in superhero movies, until The Avengers came along, was when Nick Fury showed up in Iron Man. Even though it was a guy with an eye patch it was really cool – and I expect we will see more of that.”
While there’s no actual confirmation that it’s going to happen, it’s still possible now that Millar himself has admitted his willingness to make it happen. Add the fact that Hugh Jackman was very vocal about supporting a crossover (to the point where he called on both Disney and Fox to come to an agreement) and we have ourselves really good chance of seeing an F4/X-Men movie.
