Marvel has just released another poster for the upcoming Iron Man 3, this time featuring the film’s main villain, the Mandarin, played by Ben Kingsley. The previous poster featured the film’s sub villain Aldrich Killian, who is portrayed by Guy Pearce.
The new Mandarin poster features the villain slouching casually on his throne, with the main design of the poster hinting at his Chinese origins similar to the comic book version, as his outfit pairs a silky looking kimono with grubby, dragon embroidered military fatigues. Even the walls are adorned with dragon designs. If you think the sunglasses are out of place, keep in mind that it bears a striking resemblance to the ones Tony Stark likes to wear.
The official blurb:
“Mandarin is the sinister head of the terrorist organization known as The Ten Rings, from which all the acts of extreme terrorism plaguing the world appear to emanate. Although he is reclusive, Mandarin wields great power and makes his presence known by striking fear in the government and the populace through his brazen plans of attack”
