Hugh Jackman has always been vocal about his support for crossovers between various films based on Marvel’s comic books, regardless of which company currently owns the rights. In a recent interview with HuffPo, he revealed that he almost made a cameo in the Sony-owned Spider-Man film when Sam Raimi was in the reins (Jackman’s Wolverine and X-Men films are under Fox) but a wardrobe issue threw a wrench in their plans.
“In the first Spider-Man – Kevin Feige reminded me of this – we really tried to get me to come on and do something,” says Jackman, “whether it was a gag or just to walk through the shot or something.”
“The problem was, we couldn’t find the suit. The suit was stuck in something. And so when they were in New York when I was there, we couldn’t get it together.”
