Dan Aykroyd shows no sign of stopping or giving up when it comes to Ghostbusters 3, as he has probably spent the better part of the last decade pushing for its development, trying to get cast members to reprise their roles, and giving constant updates. His most recent push was an appearance on the Larry King Now show, revealing a new batch of plot details from a script that is said to be well on its way to completion.
“It’s based on new research that’s being done in particle physics by the young men and women at Columbia University,” explains Aykroyd, when the inevitable Ghostbusters question reared its head.
“I can say that the world or the dimension that we live in, our four planes of existence – length, height, width and time – become threatened by some of the research that’s being done. Ghostbusters, new Ghostbusters, have to come and solve the problem.”
