Now that Man of Steel has proven its mettle at the box office, the much anticipated Justice League movie becomes a matter of When, instead of If, with Warner Bros finally realizing the marketability of their own team up movie. However, the most recent actor to play the caped crusader, Christian Bale, has already ruled himself out of playing the Batman again and participating in any Justice League movie.
“I have no information, no knowledge about anything,” says Bale. “I’ve literally not had a conversation with a living soul. I understand that they may be making a Justice League movie, that’s it.”
“It’s a torch that should be handed from one actor to another,” he continues. “So I enjoy looking forward to what somebody else will come up with. We were incredibly fortunate to get to make three [Batman films]. That’s enough. Let’s not get greedy.”
It is not really that big of a surprise that Bale is not interested in becoming Bruce Wayne again, as he and Christopher Nolan have already confirmed in the past that they do not want to revisit the Batman franchise again. However, now that the actor himself has ruled out any possibilities, fans can once again start speculating on who’s going to be the next Dark Knight.
