After months and months of Christopher Nolan aggressively shooting down speculation over his involvement in a Justice League movie, and publicly stating that he doesn’t want to have anything to touch the Batman movie franchise rumors are starting to circulate that the Dark Knight Trilogy director will be producing the upcoming DC superhero team up movie, with Man of Steel director Zack Snyder sitting on the director’s chair.
The rumor comes from Latino Review, which is usually very credible when it comes to comic book movie rumors. It is said that the Justice League movie film will depend largely on the success of the upcoming Man of Steel movie.
“Christopher Nolan has completely taken over the DCU at Warner Bros,” claims the site. “Anything having to do with these super heroes, goes through him now.”
What’s even better (and arousing to some of us, if you say it in a deep, soothing voice), is that Warner is also persuading Christian Bale to don the cape and cowl again, in order to play Batman opposite to Henry Cavill’s Superman. Now, like Nolan, Bale was also adamant about the finality of the Dark Knight trilogy, but if they were able to change Nolan’s mind, it wouldn’t be that improbable that they’d be able to convince Bale as well, given the amount of respect between the two.
