Those who are interested in a PS Vita but aren’t too keen on its price and it’s small screen will have an alternative soon, as Sony has recently revealed a new console called the Playstation Vita TV, which is basically a consolized PS Vita designed to play Vita titles on TV sets. The console is pencilled in for a November 14 release in Japan, and is priced at 9,954 yen (roughly $100).
The PS Vita TV has a Vita card slot as well as a couple of memory card slots, which means you can download and play PSOne classics and PSP games in addition to the Vita’s already decent library. The console also has the ability to play PS4 Games (?) and can support up to 2 Dual Shock 3 controllers. You can check out the concept movie below:
