If you are one of those Xbox gamers who require the best headsets (and therefore must resort to third party fancy headsets instead of the official ones), you’ll be disappointed at the recent news that the Xbox One won’t allow for third party support until early 2014.

The news came via an official statement from Microsoft, and while there wasn’t any official reasons given for the decision to delay support for third party headsets, they did confirm plans to work closely with their partners in order to “create new headsets that will take full advantage of the Xbox One technology.”

So I guess if you’re in the market for a fancy headgear, you might want to wait until next year just to see if Microsoft and their partners have something special that you don’t want to miss out on.
