It’s not really an actual, honest-to-goodness apology, but Wii U owners that were disappointed by Ubisoft’s recent decision to push Rayman Legends back to September (in order to make the Wii U release consistent with the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions) will at least have something to tide them over, as Ubisoft promises a new Wii U demo for the upcoming platformer, due for launch soon.
There’s already a demo available in the eShop, so we’re thinking that the new will offer something different. Ubisoft’s official statement about the delay and the demo:
Thanks for all your feedback regarding Rayman Legends in all of its forms. We have heard you and we will continue to listen. We understand your frustration and that you want to get your hands on the game. We are working with the development team to provide you with a new, exclusive demo for the Wii U soon. Stay tuned for more.
