Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is one of the few kart games that is actually better than the Mario Kart iteration that it competed with (the other one that comes to mind is Diddy Kong Racing), and people were hoping for a sequel for a couple of years now.
Later this year, fans will get their wish as Team Sega has finally announced that there will be a follow-up to the hit kart racing game, entitled Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed. If you want to know what the “Transformed” prefix means, watch the debut trailer below:
Now that’s what you call an All-Terrain Vehicle! It seems that the selling point for the follow up to 2010’s Sonic & Sega-All Stars Racing is vehicles that can transform between air, land, and aquatic forms.
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed will have ports for the xBox360, Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and PC.
