There’s no denying that the PS4 is more powerful than its predecessor, allowing it to pump out graphics that are significantly better-looking. However, very few devs have actually chosen to take advantage of this, probably in order to save development costs when porting from the PS3 to the PS4 (especially in cases where the game will be released on both.) Naturally, this has allowed many PS3 owners to be patient and wait until their PS3s are no longer supported by developers before they upgrade.
However, Crystal Dynamics wants to give gamers who can afford it a push to finally upgrade, and they are doing it by releasing a comparison video for the PS3 and PS4 versions of the Tomb Raider reboot. You can check out the video below:
