Nintendo has just announced that a trial version for the upcoming sequel to Wii Fit, aptly titled Wii Fit U because it’s coming out for the Wii U, will be made available for download from the Nintendo eShop starting on November 1. So all of you fitness fanatics who prefer a little Nintendo in your routines will be able to take the game out for a test run and decide whether you want to shell out the full price when it comes out.
The trial version of Wii Fit U will contain a full experience of the game instead of being a stripped down version. However, the game itself will only work for 31 days after it’s first played, and can only be downloaded until January 31, 2014. Alternatively, when you pick up the $19.99 Fit Meter and sync it to the demo, you’ll be able to play the full version without any time limits (“forever” as the press release puts it).
The actual Wii Fit U game will hit North America on December 13.
