Nintendo 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro Makes it XL-er

Nintendo recently launched a refresh of their Nintendo 3DS, called the 3DS XL, with the intention of making the handheld bigger for people who felt that the original was too small for their stupid caveman hands. If you’re one of the few people on earth who still feel that the 3DS XL is still small, the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro should solve your problems.

The original 3DS Circle Pad Pro was introduced along with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, while the XL sized version was released on its own, with users being content to imagine that there’s a Monster Hunter 4 inserted in the cartridge slot.

Aside from making the handheld bigger, the main use of the XL Circle Pad Pro is to add another analog nub to the 3DS XL, making it better suited to FPS and any game that would require two analog controls (shooters being the primary candidates, as they need analog movement and analog aiming).
