Capcom’s recent Monster Hunter Festa 13 event brought news that the Nintendo 3DS will be getting a new Monster Hunter game that uses the prefix 4G. As the prefix implies, there is indeed a connection with Monster Hunter 4, as 4G will be able to support save data carried from MH4. According to a follow-up announcement from Capcom, Monster Hunter 4G will be released for both the North American (under the name Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate) and Japanese markets.
