After extensive testing and after its actual release in Japan last summer, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX is ready to kart itself over to the North American market. According to a recent report by ArcadeHeroes.com, Mario’s latest arcade outing is being presented at the IAAPA 2013 trade show in Orlando, FL, and will arrive to US arcades next year.
For the uninitiated, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX is a port of the Japanese version of Mario Kart 7 for the arcades, and will reuse the 42″ Dead Heat Street Racing cabinets, which were released last year by Namco.
Mario Kart Arcade GP DX is notable for being able to make use of online features, so new courses, karts, and characters can be added when (or if) Nintendo releases them. You can check out the video below:
