Dark Souls II Beta Pushed Back 0

The beta for the insanely punishing game Dark Souls II was supposed to start on October 5, but due to unforeseen (and unspecified) circumstances, it was pushed a little further back to October 12, with a second round starting on October 27. If you’re in Europe, count yourself lucky because you can sign up for the beta today via the PSN.

The Dark Souls II beta will be available for PS3 users in North America and Europe/Australia, which means registration for said regions will be forthcoming. People should already know what to expect – ball-crunchingly difficult enemy encounters, unforgiving puzzles, and complete lack of handholding (there are rumors floating around that the limited edition boxes will poke you in the eye and kick your dog.)

Dark Souls II will be released properly for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on March next year.
