In this day and age, the Internet has made it hard for secrets to stay buried, particularly with regard to videogames. It usually takes less time for secrets and easter eggs to start making the rounds on the net, than it is to actually code them in. This makes the discovery of a full copy of F-Zero AX tucked away inside F-Zero GX that much more amazing.

For those who are not familiar with the two games, F-Zero GX was a Nintendo Gamecube title released back in 2003, which sported connectivity with the arcade game it was based on, F-Zero AX. The AX cabinet allowed gamers access to exclusive tracks simply by inserting their gamecube memory cards into the cabinet. A nifty feature, if it weren’t for the fact that spotting an arcade these days is a rarity, much less one that has F-Zero AX.
