This week, fans of memory-based, hard-as-hell videogames will have another classic nugget to chew on, as Contra: Shattered Soldier will be making its way to PSN as a PS2 Classic. The game was originally released on the Playstation 2 in 2002, and provided a much-needed polygon-based graphical update to the Contra franchise, while staying true to its 2D roots. The game is notable for being extremely difficult due to its dependence on a gamer’s reflexes and rote memorization of levels. You can check out the video below:
