After the recent Spike Video Game Awards, Electronic Arts has announced that Victory Games is now Bioware Victory, and that the newly merged/rebranded studio is currently working on Command and Concquer: Generals 2. The announcement reveals that the PC exclusive game could also be the new Bioware project that has been teased recently, as it has been given a 2013 release schedule.
C & C: Generals 2 is set in a near future where global peace has become a real possibility. However, said peace has been pushed further back when a terrorist attack wipes out a large group of politicians and diplomats attending a peace conference, leaving nothing but the country’s generals in charge of their governments.
Generals 2 will feature a single player campaign told from different vantage points, and of course will come with a bevy of multiplayer and online modes. For more details on the game, you can check out Bioware’s site at http://www.bioware.com
