Muramasa: The Demon Blade was one of the underrated gems of the Nintendo Wii, as it didn’t receive as much attention as other titles partly because people were too focuses on the console’s motion controls and with other games stunning 3D visuals, so it’s understandable that an action explorer with traditional hack and slash controls and gorgeous 2D visuals would pass under people’s radars.
If you were one of the people who missed out on this gem, you’ll be able to get your fill with the release of the PS Vita Port, dubbed Muramasa Rebirth. It’s a basic port, but it may look better than the original due to the small HD screen on the Vita. You can check out the previews below:
Japan gets Muramasa Rebirth on March 28, and Aksys Games is set to release it in North America sometime this year.
