It’s understandable if you’re not familiar with Chaos Rings, despite its pedigree (it’s a Square Enix game), because it’s a quality console-style RPG originally released on a platform that wasn’t known for console-style RPGs – smartphones and tablets.
Now, it seems like Square Enix is finally confident that Chaos Rings will be received well by their original core fanbase, since they will be releasing the multi-part RPG on the PS Vita, via the Playstation Store.
The port to PS Vita is fairly straightforward, thanks in part to the handheld having touchscreen, which means Square Enix doesn’t have to modify the controls that much. There is support for standard physical controls, though.
