Majority of gamers these days already accept that digital distribution has become the norm, and have no qualms about purchasing download-only titles at full price provided that the quality of the game deserves its price tag.
However, there are still those (including yours truly) who still prefer having a physical box and it seems like Capcom and WayForward has not forgotten, as they will be releasing boxed versions of Ducktales Remastered on November 12. The boxed retail copies will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii U for $19.99.
Now, we’re not being obtuse on purpose. We prefer boxed copies even if it still requires online activation, not because of a collector’s mindset (although some people have that too), but because we have metered/bandwidth-capped Internet, which would make downloading of games (especially those that exceed 12 Gbs, which is quite the norm for PC games these days) too much of a hassle.
