A new trailer has just been released for the next installment in the Arkham series of Batman videogames, titled Batman: Arkham Origins. All eyes are on this one, as it is no longer being developed by Rocksteady (which is the developer that made Arkham City and Arkham Asylum, the two award-winning games that put the franchise back on the videogame map). The game is now being handled by Warner Bros. Games Montreal, and as revealed in the trailer below, it will have a Multiplayer mode developed by Splash Damage:

It’s not all good news, though. Especially if you’re a Wii U owner, as the console’s port of Arkham Origins will not have a Multiplayer mode.

Batman: Arkham Origins will be released on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U on October 25. There will also be a handheld spin-off, titled Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, for the Nintendo 3DS and Sony PS Vita.
